Michelle BergmanMichelle credits her love of wildlife and the outdoors to a childhood spent reading Ranger Rick magazines, camping with her family, and learning the names of the plants, birds, and other wildlife they encountered along the way.

She graduated summa cum laude from Asbury University with a B.A. in Biology and also studied at Au Sable Environmental Institute. Before joining Big Life Foundation, Michelle worked in nonprofit communications and fundraising, combining storytelling with a passion for helping people make a difference.

At Big Life, Michelle enjoys connecting supporters with the organization’s conservation work across East Africa. She is passionate about helping donors see the impact of their generosity and building meaningful relationships with the people who make Big Life’s work possible.

Outside of work, Michelle can usually be found mountain biking, hiking, camping, reading, or enjoying a long lunch with friends.
